Automatic deletion of CIT only in Discovery_by_manual job

Hello:

In our UCMDB the Inventory_Discovery_by_Manual_Scanner job deletes all CIT that we marked to Autodelete in the adapter configuration, but the strange is that all CIT exists in the node.

This not happens with the Inventory_discovery_by_Scanner job.

For example if we scan a Windows computer with the Inventory_discovery_by_scanner it discover all the software that exist in the computer, but later in time if we scan the same Windows computer with the Inventory_discovery_by_manual scanner this job deletes (after many hours) all the installedSoftware, Os user, Dir, Filesystem... etc (all the CIT that we set to autodelete in the adapter configuration)

For my understand, the DataFlow compares the current scanner (discovery_by_manual) with the previous (discovery_by_scanner) and deletes all the CIT that haven't found in the current scanner.

Is this the correct behaviour?

Why the discovery_by_manual scanner deletes all the installedSoftware? Obviously, the manual scanner scan all the software of the computer. The discovery_by_scanner and the discovery_by_manual uses the same scanner profile.

thanks.

Re: Automatic deletion of CIT only in Discovery_by_manual job

Does the scan file from the same computer get processed by both jobs on the same probe?

What I mean is, does scan file for computer ABC get processed by probe server 1 for Inventory Discovery by Scanner and also Inventory Discovery by Manual Scanner?

Re: Automatic deletion of CIT only in Discovery_by_manual job

We have 1 probe server and the scheduler of Inventory discovery by Scanner every 14 days.

Sometimes we launch the manual escáner in some computers to get the most current info and to not wait for the Inventory Discovery by Scanner. The manual scaner is a scaner that we have generated in the UCMDB using the same scaner-profile that Inventory Discovery by Scanner.

When the manual scaner finish, it copies itself to the incoming folder of the probe and the UCMDB processed this file by the Inventory Discovery by Manual Scanner.

The Inventory Discovery by manual scaner deletes all the software that the Inventory discovery by Scanner found it. I think this is not the correct behaviour, althoug we have set the autodelete option in installed software CIT in the Inventory Discovery by Manual Scanner adapter, the software exist in the computer and i think they should not be deleted.
