CI Attribute enrichment via Regular Expression

Dear fellow uCMDB experts,

I'm calling to the team for help, as I'm stuck with a specific enrichment job that would require the use of Regular Expression (and I know nothing about RegEx).

In a nutshell : consider an Application CI, related to various Environment CI's : P (Production), A (Acceptance), D (Development),....

I'd like to store in an Application CI attribute ""app_env" the concatenation of all the related Environments, using their 1-letter name. So in this case, I would store the letters P,A and D in my "app_env" CI attribute, giving me a "PAD" string.

So I imagine a set of enrichment rules, stating that if Application CI is related to Environment CI "A", then take value of Application CI attribute "app_env" and add the letter A. And so on, with one rule for each possible environment letter.

Any advice on how it is possible to add an additional character to a string using Regular Expression ?

Thanks for your help.
