CMDB / CIT Performance Issue

Hello,

We've already opened at ticet:  4649863657 regarding this issue.

Using CIT 9.51

Current CMDB:  10.11.224
Content Pack:   14.03.230

Some of the custom TQL has 8000 root CIs and many more related CIs.

If cmdb is up and running and we try to pull data from this TQL using Connect-it it throws MamResponseException.

Immediately after the exception if we restart cmdb server and pull again. It works fine.

It seems CIT isn't releasing the tables cleanly - not sure.

What settings we are commened so that we don't have to restart cmdb before beging a pull.  I dont beleive CIT was designed to affect the CMDB in this manner.

Re: CMDB / CIT Performance Issue

Hi,

Are you using any chunk options from CIT and what is the value for that?

Also there were the so called integrity rules/bundles for this integration. Are you using them?

Re: CMDB / CIT Performance Issue

There is a way to set a chunk option, unfortunately I don't remember exactly how it was but it was from CIT side.

The integrity rules were related to the chunk.  Those were created in order to tell the chunker that all CIs connected to a node must go into the same chunk.

But do you know how much data the tql that is triggered by the scenario contains? When the issue is reproducible do you see the tql was calculated on the ucmdb side succesfully and how many CIs it has in te result?

Regards,
