CMS UI Browser search not working when there's a high wait queue in the slow.log

We've run into an issue that seems to connected. On a weekly basis our CMS UI basic CI search function will not load results. This doesn't happen all of the time, but when it does there's also a corresponding high wait queue in the slow.log for history table writes. The wait queue can often run anywhere from 1000-4000 table writes. We've engaged Micro Focus on this, but wanted to see if anyone else has seem this issue as well.

We're running uCMDB 2019.05 with a standalone CMS UI of 2019.05. All other functions in the browser work fine, like advanced search and pulling up reports, it only affects the basic search function. It does not error out it just sits at "Loading" for as long as you leave it or until your session times out.
