CMS and RTSM Global ID

Instead of using the uCMDB as the Global ID generator I'm looking at a temporary scenario where I may need to configure OMi RTSM to generate the global id.  The OMi RTSM is integrating with other  RTSM topology sources and we may need to gloabal ID for proper reconciliation.

However, the CMS system, uCMDB would be preferred but that team is not ready to do the integration yet.

Recommendations?  I would prefer to have the least mess and integrate with uCMDB to get the global ID. However, what is the best option after the CMDB?

What is the risk of not using a Global ID?  Reconciliation of course...

OMi topology sources include: NNMi, BSM, BSMC connected systems, SiteScope, OML, OpsCX and other OMi servers.

Re: CMS and RTSM Global ID

Unfortunately no since the uCMDB team has too may issues right now to integrate with the RTSM.  Future yes,  but I need an interim solution.
