Changing the port on the UCMDB Server

I would like to change the ucmdb server port to port 80.

In this way when accessing I do not need to specify port 8080 in the URL.

The deployment guide specifies installing IIS

I would like to know what other options may be available.

Re: Changing the port on the UCMDB Server

CAUTION: if port 80 is being used by another application (check using netstat -an) and you make changes to the default port, the ucmdb wont be able to start.

In UCMDB 10.01 under <server_installation>\conf\ folder there is a file called settings.override.properties.

- Add the line:

   jetty.connections.http.port=80

- Save

- restart the ucmdb

Note: I corrected the parameter: it said  jetty.connectionshttp.port=80, It should say jetty.connections.http.port=80
