Hi Pyalcari,

From my understanding, you want to discover servers under DMZ Zone?

Because it is under DMZ Zone so if the ping response is disabled you cannot discover IP addresses of the nodes. In case you have created all IP address CIs manually then everything will be fine.
In addition, there have another way, you can deploy a probe on one of your servers in your DMZ zone. The advantage of putting a probe in the DMZ is that you only need to open up an 8080 or 443 connection both ways between the probe and the UCMDB probe. So you need to open up a small hole in the firewall.

Best regards,

Hoang

Please read the section "Configuring Reverse Proxy" from UCMDB Hardening Guide.

Pysalcari,

I agree with Hoang. We deploy a probe in the DMZ and open either 8080 or 443 back to the UCMDB server.
