Data Flow Probe Issue

Hi,

I am trying to integrate HP OMi with HP BSM and as a part of it I installed the Data Flow Probe.  I am getting the following errors when I start the Data Flow Probe and it is not showing up on the OMi Server

Re: Data Flow Probe Issue

In addition to that .

The server that the probe is installed is Linux and HP BSM server is also Linux. The netstat -na 5432 does not give any results.

Anoop

Re: Data Flow Probe Issue

I am having a similar issue.  Did you find a solution for this?  Thanks!

Re: Data Flow Probe Issue

For UCMDB server (valid for Linux probe also) we have a known issue mentioned in the release notes. You will need to remove the Postgresql which is delivered with the OS (the OOTB pgsql package).

Possible problems:

  • port 5432 is already used by the pgsql package
  • pgsql binary is in the user path due to the pgsql package
  • localhost handling in pgsql conf file
Kind regards,
Bogdan Mureșan
