Details of probe server job Enriched File Assistant - SFCleanupJob

Jump to solution

In UCMDB 10 probe I see in the ProbeMgr-XmlEnricher.log file lines such as these:

[INFO ] [EnrichedFileAssistant] (SFCleanupJob.java:101) - clean up orphan file C:\hp\UCMDB\DataFlowProbe\bin\..\runtime\xmlenricher\Scans\processed\TWH-HLEE-LT_00059A3C7A00.xsf sucessfully
[INFO ] [EnrichedFileAssistant] (SFCleanupJob.java:101) - clean up orphan file C:\hp\UCMDB\DataFlowProbe\bin\..\runtime\xmlenricher\Scans\sending\auto_MZ_Global_Daily scan_Inventory Discovery by Scanner_735f597f9405a84ff6ba9b6bed8d95d5.xsf sucessfully

Can you provide more detail about how this job determines which files to delete or cleanup and how often?

Are there settings that we can adjust for this job? For instance; change how long files remain in the xmlenricher\Scans\sending folder?

HI John,

  1. Orphaned scan files are scan files that are no longer associated with a Node CI.

This happens when the node has been purged from the database.

 2. The options are in the following file:

DataflowProbe.properties  file

##Scan

# xml-enricher folder

#com.hp.ucmdb.discovery.inventory.scanners.xmlenricher.location=xmlenricher

# xml-files location

#com.hp.ucmdb.discovery.inventory.scanners.xmlenricher.location.files=Scans

# xml enricher system cleanup interval time millisecond, orphan days, legacy days, expiration days

com.hp.ucmdb.discovery.inventory.scanners.xmlenricher.systemcleanup.interval=3600000

com.hp.ucmdb.discovery.inventory.scanners.xmlenricher.systemcleanup.orphan=40

com.hp.ucmdb.discovery.inventory.scanners.xmlenricher.systemcleanup.legacy=7

com.hp.ucmdb.discovery.inventory.scanners.xmlenricher.systemcleanup.unrecognizedFileExpirationTime = 30

3.There are no special setting for the files to be waiting in Sending folder. The settings are for all the Scans folders.

Thanks
