Discovering Raspberry Pi via SSH

Any Tips on doing this discovery including the setup on the device and the Credentials within uCMDB.

There is not enough info to answer your question. What distro the RPi running with in your case?

Most of distributions are based on Debian and could be discovered as any other Linux box. OTTB user "pi" having sudo permissions, so it will work well with UCMDB. More info https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/linux/usage/root.md.

There is slight chance that you are running with Windows 10, which is also discoverable OS.
