Discovering SRM enabled servers

Is anyone using UCMDB in an environment where VMWare SRM is used?  SRM provides inter-site migration for virtual machines.  The issue is that while the server hostname and FQDN remain the same, the IP address changes to the new site.  We typically end up with nodes which have an additional (incorrect) IP address CI relationship.

Has anyone else run into this situation?

Thanks

Paul

Re: Discovering SRM enabled servers

Hello Paul,

a customer tried to approach this SRM functionality for the probe and server back in 2013. Because the requirements weren't clear that requestor dropped the approach.

Since them nobody asked for this.

My best guess is that you need to open this on Idea Exchange https://community.microfocus.com/t5/CMS-Idea-Exchange/idb-p/CMS_Idea

Actually, we don't even discover this functionality.
That would be interesting also.
