Discovery conflict

Jump to solution

I'm running the Host Resources and Applications by WMI job and the MS Cluster by NTCMD.  Both jobs are updating CI names, flip flopping between upper case and lower case.  Is there anyway to override attribute updating for a specific discovery job?  I'm on 9.05 CUP 10.

Hello adamcole,

What is the Component Pack being used?

There is a procedure to resolve the issue in the document bellow:

http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM00465800

To follow the new version UCMDB 10.01,  instead of <Attribute-Qualifier name=DDM_AUTOUPPERCASE" /> it is used < Attribute-Qualifier name=DDM_AUTOLOWERCASE" />

I would suggest that follow the same procedure but replace the qualifier to DDM_AUTOLOWERCASE.

Regards,

Juan Calderon
