Failed Detecting OS type for SOlaris- ssh discovery

Hi,

 

Working on UCMDB 10.20 .

 

We are trying to discover Unix server using ssh credential.  In fact it is a private key . In credential check , connection is successful but disocvery is showing below error.

 

"FAILED DETECTING OS TYPE" FOR SOLARIES SERVER

 

os DETAILS ARE AS BELOW

 

"SunOS zpshpdisdbda01 5.10 Generic_150400-20 sun4v sparc sun4v"

 

 

 

 

Also tried to run below command on servers and it returns the expected output.

 

cat /etc/release

Oracle Solaris 10 1/13 s10s_u11wos_24a SPARC

ksh: /etc/lgr: cannot open

 

 

 

$ echo $SHELL

/bin/ksh

 

 

 

Please find the attached communication log

 

Need quick answer on the same.

You should log in using SSH client (like PuTTY) directly to problematic server with credentials used by probe and run commands like "uname", "echo $?".

I think there is something wrong with shell on target server, becuase every command returns "ksh: /etc/lgr: cannot open".
