HP uCMDB : Report customization

Jump to solution

HP uCMDB: 9.05.CUP14.412

DDM Content Pack: 11.08.802

Hi everyone,

We have several ucmdb reports that needs to be uploaded to Service Now CMDB for specific CI reconciliation purposes.

One of them is a pattern view for Unix CIs and on the report section, we have attributes Display Label, CI Type and Global ID. When we export this report to a csv file, it displays the name of the view on row 1. Can we avoid this with a certain setting ? As this is a redundant process, deleting it on a bunch of reports manually is a pain.

Thanks,

Praveen

Hi Praveen,

Yes, i also met that issue, it seems be a design of the report and can not change it.

It is without the name of the report when export it in excel file, but csv.

Best Regards,

Hoang.

Hi Praveen,

Could you please share with me your steps?, did you change more setting for report?

I have tried to export a report about windows. Please see my attachment.

I have created a pattern view, just add CI type and Global ID. Then export it to excel in the Report session.

Best Regards,

Hoang.

Hi Hoang,

I want my report to look like yours. But, I don't think it is the case when we export it in a csv format.

The steps are the same as yours, nothing extra.

Thanks,

Praveen

Yes, the highlighted text is the name of the report.

I've attached a word document with the steps I followed. Kindly go over it and let me know if you see the same behaviour.

Thanks,

Praveen
