HP uCMDB : Unable to delete a custom adapter in Adapter Management ?

Jump to solution

Hi everyone,

HP uCMDB: 9.05.CUP12.351

DDM Content Pack: 11.08.802

I had deployed a custom package under package manager and it showed up on Adapter management successfully.

Later, I had to delete the package which went fine under package manager. Shouldn't this package be automatically disappearing from Adapter management as well ?

I tried several times but its stuck there. When I select the adapter and hit delete, nothing happens!

Is there any other way ?

Please see attachement.

Thanks,

Praveen

Hi Praveen,

I think it is run in somewhere so we cannot delete it.

Could you please stop Probe service and check the integration point, did you delete it?

Best Regards,

Hoang.

Hi Praveen,

Did you go to Adapter Management and try to delete the package that you want?

Then if nothing happens, please try to restart server and try again.

Best Regards,

Hoang.

Hi Hoang,

Yes, I did try to delete it from Adapter Management. I could delete the scripts, external resources, configuration files, etc. associated with that package but not the Adapter file.

I even tried to pull up the package on JMX and delete it, but wasn't successful.

I'll try this again when we restart the server sometime.

Thanks,

Praveen

You got it right, Hoang. I hadn't deleted the Integration point.

Appreciate your help.
