Host Connection by Shell and VMware ESX Topology by VIM creating duplicate host

We're seeing alot of duplicate host created after running VMware job. Looking at the defects fixed look like this problem should have been fixed in CP11 U1?

QCCR1H76618 Duplicate vmware_esx_servers are no longer created by Host Connection by Shell and VMware ESX Topology by VIM.

Any advice on how to reconcile the duplicate? And prevent this problem?

Re: Host Connection by Shell and VMware ESX Topology by VIM creating duplicate host

We use uCMDB 10.01 CUP 3 with CP 12.01.854

We don’t run VMWare discovery jobs yet, only host connection jobs.

What about the change on Duplicates  if we also start the VMWare discovery jobs ?

Upgrade your CP. After that incorrect duplicates will be aged out.
