How to add custom CI type in the Browser ?

Jump to solution

Dear uCMDB expert community,

I do have a few custom CI Types in our uCMDB 10.33 which are never provided any search results when looking for those in the uCMDB Browser. You need to pass through the Advanced Search and select the CI type to be able to found any results.

Display label and name attributes for those CI types are well flagged as visible and searchable in the Browser, but still no results.

Anyone knows how to properly add those CI Types in the Browser configuration so that they are indexed and available for search ?

Thanks in advance

We have this documented at https://docs.microfocus.com/itom/Universal_CMDB:2019.11/UIACustomAttrbt

It is valid for 10.33 also as we have the same principles in the background.

I know.
We had the same problem 2 years ago so we asked the documentation team to produce such a document.
Good luck with tailoring your CMS.
