How to link a computer to a business application using CIT

Hello Guys,

I would like to be able to link a computer (CI Type = 'windows') to a business application in uCMDB by uploading data using Connect-It.

I have created a query into uCMDB (BusinessApplication --containment--> Windows) which I'm using in my uCMDB connector in CIT

In my CIT scenario, I have:

source connector: txt file containing 2 parameters
target connector: UCMDB using the query

I linked the 2 connectors as follows:

[BusinessApplication.name] --> [TXTFILE.APP_NAME]
[windows.name] --> [TXTFILE.SERVER_NAME]

When running the scenario, it does not link anything in UCMDB...am I doing something wrong?

Please help me on that topic or guide me to the right direction.

Re: How to link a computer to a business application using CIT

Hi Bruno

I did also integrations with connectIt but its difficult to troubleshoot in thos forum.

Anyway, a pragmatic approach is to create only CIs with ConnectIT and use enrichments to add the link between CIs.
In my opinion this is much more flexibel and powefull..
