IP 0.0.0.0

Why do we have Errors regarding IP 0.0.0.0

0.0.0.0 means i am listening on all interfaces (therefore all IPs assigned to a box)

Re: IP 0.0.0.0

Hi

Please edit the script to handle the invalid IPs configured in the remote server.

script name is  WMI Connection Utils .
We added below two lines so that we ignore whch are IP value as 0.0.0.0.

ignoreIp = (IPAddress == '0.0.0.0' or IPAddress == '' or not re.match('\d+\.\d+\.\d+\.\d+', IPAddress))
                                                if not ignoreIp:
                                                                IPSubnet = masks[ipIndex]

Please look at the below statement, also comment the last statement of logger.debug

 logger.debug('Found IPAddress: ', IPAddress, ', MACAddress: ', MACAddress, ', IPSubnet: ', IPSubnet, ', Description: ', Description)
