Interface Card Speeds

Jump to solution

There is an attribute in UCMDB 9.5 for the Interface card called InterfaceSpeed. I am having issues getting that attribute discovered on a consistant basis. Some interfaces have it discovered, while others dont. Any ideas what I can look for?

Thanks

Take the interface CI and see the created by attribtue, you get the discovery job which is created this interface CI.

Take the communicaiton log file of that job for specific CI, and you can check which command is getting the interface speed.

This is how we can find the root cause.

Communication log should help you to check which command being used to get the attribtue value, then we can check the same.

Awesome... I learn new things every single day with this tool. I am pulling this from Host Connection by Shell and  VirtualCenter Topology by VIM. I have put in a ticket and uploaded the correct files to them. Thanks for the help
