Legacy DDMI and Enterprise Discovery UNIX Agents

Is there a documented process for removing legacy DDMI and/or Enterprise Discovery Agents on UNIX platforms?  Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Legacy DDMI and Enterprise Discovery UNIX Agents

Hello Rose,

DDMI 9.32 Configuration and Customization guide page#90

*** Uninstalling the Agent

As automatic deployment is only supported on Windows, automatic agent uninstall is only available on Windows too.

UNIX scanners must be uninstalled manually or via a scripted uninstall applicable to the environment.

To uninstall the unix agent:

  1. Stop the Agent process using the unix kill command
  2. Remove the files created by the agent:
    • bin/discagnt
    • acstrust.cert
    • agentca.pem
    • .discagnt/*
