Jump to solution

Hi,

Working with UD10.10 CP13

Want to know which load balancers can be discovered. As per pdf Microsoft, Cisco,Altron,F5Big load balancer are supported.

At customer place there are many Radware loadbalancer available so same can be discovered? Requirement is to build view with LB dependency

Please suggest.

Re: Load balancer Discovery

Hi Nick,

I apologize for the confusion I may have caused.

The UCMDB10.10 Discovery and Integration Content - Supported guide, states we only support Microsoft, Cisco,Altron,F5Big load .

Radware load balancers, they are not supported at the moment.

Reason why it was suggested to have an Enhancement Request (ER) opened, https://support.openview.hp.com/enhancement/do/main so Radware load balancer can be considered for future releases.

Let me know if you require any other information regarding this subject.

Best regards,

Ana Acosta-Diaz

Hi Nick,

We presently just support F5 BIG-IP version 10.x load balancer as per our Matrix guide. If the customer would like to have Radware loadbalancer, I suggest opening an ER https://support.openview.hp.com/enhancement/do/main so it can be consider for future relases.

Hi,

 I dint get your point.

U mean to say Radware Load balancer can be discovered with UD 10.10???? Is it?  If so, then which job I  need to run to discover dependency   and other CIs from load balancer.

As a network device , any load balancer can be discoverable with SNMP Community string but can I disocver entire depndency and other relationship???

with regards,

Nick
