Map results of postscan scripts to uCMDB attributes

Is anyone using postscan scripts with UD scanning (inventory discovery) and has mapped the results of postscan scripts (in DDMI this was saved in table hwAssetCustomData) to uCMDB attributes? How can this be done? More complicated, the number and names of the custom attributes collected by the postscan scripts may vary...

Re: Map results of postscan scripts to uCMDB attributes

You can find information on how to map the custom attributes in the docs : Mapping Hardware or Asset Fields to UCMDB - Use-Case Scenarios

The <hwAssetCustomData> XML structure is still valid in the returned scan file. Besides the HardwareMappingConfig.xml and instructions above you could edit the ParseEnrichedScanFile.py directly, search for the function mapAssetData. Remember to make a backup of your changes because everytime a new CP is installed it will overwrite your changes.
