Multiple Role Alignment to a Single CI.

My organization has various roles that can be aligned to specific CI’s. The roles typically relate to the functional ownership of an application, the technical ownership of an application, and the service ownership of an application. It is not clear to me how the party CI can be easily leveraged to represent these associations to specific CI’s. In some cases, one person may represent the owner of several of these roles. I appreciate any recommendations aligned to how to solve this challenge!

Re: Multiple Role Alignment to a Single CI.

Hello Ryan ,

I hope you are doing well .

Please review the "Hp UCMDB Administration Guide" in that guide you can find all the information about the roles.

Remember :

1- We recommend only one role per user .

2- Create a role and definite the permissions of this role . You can create a service role with technical and services permissions.

3- The most important thing is the permissions that you asssing to each role . With that you can create more than one user with the same specific role .
