Multivalue choice attribute in UCMDB

Is there a way to have a multivalue CI Type attribute (string list) where the user can choose from a predefined list of values? I would like something that combines the functionalities of the string list and the predifined list attribute types.

Any ideas?

Kind regards,

Malin

Re: Multivalue choice attribute in UCMDB

We want to be able to tag certain CIs with predefined values. I some cases several values apply.

Yes. To create new list go to CI Type Manager -> CI Types in main menu -> System Type Manager.

When new list will be created, go to specific CIT ->Add new attribute -> Switch Attribute Type to Enumeration/List and find newly created list in drop down menu. Then chose Default value.

Check attched screen shots.

Re: Multivalue choice attribute in UCMDB

But for lists you can only choose one value at the time, right? For the same CI we need to choose more than one of the values from the list.

E.g. if the list contains the values red, blue and green I want to be able to pick both red AND green. Is this poosible in some way with the list type?
