No Agent on the remote machine

Hi Team,

We changed our discovery from NTCMD to WMI and have done nothing more other than adding the same things in NTCMD like passwords and ips.

The credentials are working fine for WMI and the jobs running. However, in the status which shows success I see all of them in warning. The warning message is "No Agent on the remote machine".

Does it mean the discovery is not working properly? How to check this if WMI job is working fine?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Regards

Mathew

Re: No Agent on the remote machine

Hi Team,

We do not have port 135 opened, can that be an issue for WMI discovery error?

Is there any security issues for network if we open port 135?

Please advice.

Thank you.
