Node CI attribute discovery discrepancy

Host Connection by Shell and Inventory Discovery Scanner disagree about what the OS version / release are for AIX,  how can I reconcile this discrepancy as the last job to run against a node is the one which puts its version of the truth in those fields.

Inventory Discovery Scanner job sees the OS as 7.1.0.0 and the release as 3

Host Connection by Shell job sees the OS as 7.1 and the release as 3.5.1524

Re: Node CI attribute discovery discrepancy

Ken;

With UCMDB and UD Agents, you follow the same rules as with any other protocol.  Please pick one and use it (the same advice would be given with using SNMP vs. Shell or WMI vs. NTCMD vs. PowerShell).

Hope this helps,
