Re: ATTENTION: UCMDB Online Expert Day on March 12-13, 2014!

Hi,

Thank you for conducting such a user interaction program.

We had typical situation in our uCMDB implementation.

We are using uCMDB 10.0 version(Agentless discovery) in our environment. We got a requirement from our client for having application to application mapping in uCMDB.

For example:

1) when we are accessing a web based application like internet banking, the web server creates a communication with DB's via DB links to pull/retrieve the required information when we click on something in the application. This is the general scenerio for any application like online transactions etc.., We need the whole transactions communication to be tracked in uCMDB. Is it possble to have rich infomation regarding all the communications between Webservers to DB's, DB to DB, Process to Process such that we can create a view so that we can have list of CI's which get involved for single transaction/Process

2) How and where we can see the space allocated for Oracle/Sql server DB?

It wolud be of great help if I can get the answers for above queries.

Thanks & Regards,

Nagender

Re: ATTENTION: UCMDB Online Expert Day on March 12-13, 2014!

Hello,

Please create a new post in this forum to ask your question so that our dedicated Online Engineers may see it and respond accordingly.

Although this forum is always monitored by our Online Engineers, the Online Expert Day is not until March 12th, and if you want to wait until then to ask your question, you may do that as well.

Regards,

Michelle

Re: ATTENTION: UCMDB Online Expert Day on March 12-13, 2014!

Hello,

Thanks for this session.

I am planning to upgrade our DDMI 9.32 environment to UDi 10.01 and AM 5.4 version to AM 9.4 version.

I need to present the case and benefits to my management.

Is there any document you can provide me that lists the benefits/ new features and/or comparison between the two DDMI (9.32 vs 10.01) and AM(5.4 vs 9.4) versions.

I will really appreciate your help as any such document will help to present my case much better.

Thanks,

Piyush Garg
