Obtaining Impact Analysis Data for Multiple CI's Outside of a Service Manager or Release Control

I was requested to provide a capability that allows a few processes leveraging our CMS with the ability to run an impact analysis of multiple CI's at the same time extracting the information into a consumable format.  For example, an individual may have 100 servers, the desired output is to provide an automated impact analysis from the CMDB that is extracted into a spreadsheet or pdf format.

What options are available to meet this requirement?

Hi Ryan,

I would like to confirm that you want to export a report of many CIs and also provide impact analysis.

Please see attachment as example for what i mean.

Best Regards,

Hoang.

Re: Obtaining Impact Analysis Data for Multiple CI's Outside of a Service Manager or Release Control

Thanks for the response, however I need to clarify.  My customers are presenting unique CI's.  For this example, let's call it 100 servers.  I am looking for a way to easily extract the impact analysis for those 100 servers without a significant amount of manual intervention.   If I understand the report attached, it is generated for a single CI, demonstrated the related impact.

I appreciate the feedback!

Hi Ryan,

The pdf file that i attached just is an example for that we can export a report like that. If the pdf meet your expectation, so we can export a report for many CIs rather than just one.

Best Regards,

Hoang.
