Oracle Database for 10.33 on Physical vs Virtual Server

Jump to solution

Is there a recommendation for Oracle database being on a physical versus a virtual server?  In the past we recommended a physical server but I seen no reference to it in the docs.  Any ideas?

We have online available the Sizing Guide.

For large deployments, we would recommend a physical server of course.

If you are bound to use a VM, it would be cool if it would have dedicated resources and not shard resources.
