Prevent certain Node Properties from being Pushed from uCMDB to OMi/RTSM

Hi

My customer has en environment where uCMDB has been configured to regularly push the CI-inventory over to OMi/RTSM. They have not configured an Integration Point on the RTSM side, as the solution architects apparently chose to omit this. The uCMDB just pushes everthing over to RTSM.

For certain Unix Node CI:s we do NOT want the integration to include certain properties, notably the one called "SerialNumber".

Is it possible to configure a Push-job in uCMDB, or is it possible to configure anything on the receiving OMi/RTSM side (without an integration point on that side...), to prevent this particular Property from being included in the push jobs?

Hello Frank,

I hope you are doing great!

You may modify the TQL of the Integration to avoid the tranfer.

Re: Prevent certain Node Properties from being Pushed from uCMDB to OMi/RTSM

Hi Melissa

Thanks for your reply. The TQL on the uCMDB side has actually been modified already. It only matches a certain CIT. What i want, however, is for this query to NOT include a certain attribute for these CI's, as I do not want that attribute to be included for the corresponding CI's in RTSM.

On the Element Layout tab of the query, we have chosen "Select attributes for layout"  and then added the Property in question to the "Exclude attributes" section. But nonetheless this property is inlcuded in the push job, so when the RTSM is populated the CI's contain even this property.

How can I prevent a certain property from being included in the push job form uCMDB to RTSM?

Thanks,
Frank

Hi,

Only one way to exclude the attribute - disable Auto Complete Reconciliation
