RPC server not available error for Windows server discovery using HP UD 10.20

Hi,

We are using HP UD 10.20 on Windows OS.

While performing discovery of Windows servers using the "Host connection by WMI job", I am getting "RPC server not available" error in the Communication log for few servers.

I tried performing the trace-route to the destination server from source data flow probe and it went through fine and no firewall is present in between these source and destination servers. Also confirmed the same with my Network team as well.

The user credentials are also correct and WMI service is in running state on the destination server.

Please can you let me know what are the causes for this error and way to resolve it.

Thanks in advance.

RPC server not available is usually WMI service is not well configured or may related with firewall things. You can test with wbemtest command to verify this.
