Relationship location with Nodes

My company has around 600+ locations around the globe.  I read about the enrichment rules, but i don't think it makes sense to create 600 separated rules.... I would like to do it more sufficient

The locations have been loaded into the location CI.

We would like to have visibility in the ucmdb UI between Location and Node CI's, same in the ucmdb.

First of all how do we need to built the relationship between location and Node ci's. Should we use the subnets for this, if yes how to set it up ?

Secondly we need the reports for this

Third we would like to see these in the ucmdb browser ?

Would appreciate any idea's / suggestions

thanks

John

Re: Relationship location with Nodes

Hey John,

If you are going for subnet, then you need to include the Location, Node and IP address CI in the query.

The Location CI should have a field which contain the subnet IP which can then be related to the IP address CI using a 'Join'

relationship.
