SM and AM Push Adapters using Integration Service

We can configure SM and AM Push Adapters using a DFM but get errors with attempting to use IS.

Error message below:

Failed to retrieve credentials
on the Probe side.]
Failed to retrieve credentials on the Probe side. No credentials returned for
id: 4_1_CMS. Check that the credentials are from the correct Domain.

Any insights?

Thanks!

Re: SM and AM Push Adapters using Integration Service

Do you have multiple domains configured on the system?

If yes, please be sure that credentials used for integration configured on the same domain with DFM probe you're using for integration.

Re: SM and AM Push Adapters using Integration Service

There in lies the issue.

BTW this i sv10.01

The Integration Service (not a DFM) does not appear in the DFM Control or Setup Panel.

We did not use the DefaultDomain but the IS doesn't appear there either.

Did I miss something during IS installation?

Can I change the Domain in DataFlowProbe.properties?

Re: SM and AM Push Adapters using Integration Service

Integration Service uses nearly the same to DFM Probe code.

The configuration file could be found at C:\hp\UCMDB\UCMDBServer\integrations\conf\DataFlowProbe.properties

The setting as usual:

# The Domain name
appilog.collectors.domain=DefaultDomain
# The Domain type : either customer or extrenal
appilog.collectors.domain.type = customer

Re: SM and AM Push Adapters using Integration Service

Thanks Dima,

Got that part. As it registered during installation it complains that it already exists in another domain.

I must now remove it via the UI and re-start it so it can register in the desired domain.
