Re: System Type Manager problem

Hi,

I have the same issue here. Support said it should be fixed in 10.11 cup1, but i'm running that version so it still seems to be an issue.

What version do you run?

Gr,

Ronald

Re: System Type Manager problem

The defect with similar description is https://softwaresupport.hp.com/group/softwaresupport/search-result/-/facetsearch/document/LID/QCCR1H84716.

It should be fixed in 9.05 CUP13, 10.01 CUP4, 10.10.

It should fix only upcoming enumeration changes. There is a chance that existing duplicated values should be removed by SQL statement.

If the problem persist on higher versions I'd suggest opening a support case.

Could you guys go to JMX -> Dal Services -> executeQuery

SELECT A.* FROM CCM_TDEF_ENUM A, CCM_TDEF_ENUM B WHERE A.ID! B.ID and A.TYPE_DEF_ID=B.TYPE_DEF_ID and A.ENUM_VALUE=B.ENUM_VALUE and A.ENUM_KEY=B.ENUM_KEY

And provide results here?

Re: System Type Manager problem

Hi Dima,

I get this error then:

java.lang.RuntimeException: JMX server method invocation has failed: UCMDB:service=DAL services executeQuery [null, , SELECT A.* FROM CCM_TDEF_ENUM A, CCM_TDEF_ENUM B WHERE A.ID! B.ID and A.TYPE_DEF_ID=B.TYPE_DEF_ID and A.ENUM_VALUE=B.ENUM_VALUE and A.ENUM_KEY=B.ENUM_KEY]

I also checked in the database and i don't see these tables in my db.

Gr,

Ronald

Re: System Type Manager problem

You are right. All type definitions are in URM in 10.X. I'll try to figure it out how to recreate the query.

Re: System Type Manager problem

Hello Dmitry,

Can you describe the steps you were performing before you tried to click the "Apply" button?

Did you change the InterfaceIndexType enumeration or the error message simply popped up after you modified some other enum/list?

Thanks,

Alex
