Tip: User Permissions After Installing ucmdb 9.05 CUP7 or later regarding Pattern Base Model

After installing 9.05 CUP 7, users with special permissions could not create pattern based models

This is how the User was being created

1. Create User ROLE was with NO default role assigned

2. Create a new USER with this role
3. Give this Role its rights:

-Queries tab; View+Create+Update for root
-Views tab:View+Create+Update for root
-Customize tab:
IT Universe - View
Modeling Studio - View
View - View + Create
Query - View + Create
Model - View + Create
Search CIs Permission – Execute
Get Related CIs Permission – Execute

However, in CPU 7 and later CUP versions, the following need to be added:
In the Customize tab: select "Data Modifier Permission", add the custom role with "Execute" permission.

"HP Support
If you find this or any post resolves your issue, please be sure to mark it as an accepted solution."
