UCMDB 10 Asset Manager Data Push Adapter

Hi,

Im trying to setup integration point between UCMDB 10.01 and Asset Manager 9.31 using AM Data push Adapter.

Everytime I click on Test connection, it failed. And I got this error repetitively. Can I know how to fix the problem?

Re: UCMDB 10 Asset Manager Data Push Adapter

Hello,

I will try and help as I have and do use this intergration.

I will assume that you have done all the config that the documentation tells you is required around getting the AM dlls and jars and pushing/copying them to the probe.

I have a couple of questions for you.

What database (MS SQL, Oracle) is AM using?

If oracle, is you client on the probe 32 or 64 bit?

Re: UCMDB 10 Asset Manager Data Push Adapter

Hi,

Yes. All the files in

  • <AM_Installation_directory>\websvc\lib and
  • <AM_Installation_directory>\x64

already copied to

  • <UD_Probe_Installation_directory\lib

AM using SQL Server 2008.

Re: UCMDB 10 Asset Manager Data Push Adapter

OK.

Are you specifying the DB to connect to in the format:

IP/DB Instance  e.g 192.168.1.6\SQLEXPRESS ?

Re: UCMDB 10 Asset Manager Data Push Adapter

Hi,

This is a screenshot of our AM integration connection to a demo AM. As you can see you need to specify the MS SQL instance name after the IP of the machine.
