UCMDB Config Wizard Issue .

Jump to solution

Hi Expert,

I have installed UCMDB 11.0

I'm trying to change the database schema with Universal CMDB Server Configuration Wizard,  but I get the following error.

Could`nt connect to schema: [my_schem]

Please check the schema name and password.

How i can change the schema and psw if i can`t open Configuration Wizard?

Known issue, I don't remember if it's documented.

Try to move to another location the file conf\cmdb.conf so the wizard won't use it.

Can't tell how the MasterKey password will be used after that. It's easy to test anyway.

Kind regards,

Cool! Glad it works.

I would submit an ER on the Idea Exchange portal.

From my point of view, since 10.32, if we want to run the DB configuration wizard than we should handle the data in cmdb.conf in a different manner so such issues as yours wont happen.
