Re: UCMDB Discovery for LDAP servers in unix

We need to discover NIS LDAP – Network information service - Backend Storage for Network Information Service. It contains UNIX accounts Logins (user names and passwords), User privileges, Mail, Aliases, Groups, and etc services.

I think it’s similar to Active Directory feature of Microsoft.

Can we discover this NIS LDAPs?

Similarly we have Weblogic LDAP, TIBCO LDAP... Howe we can discover all these? Please suggest/...

Hi,

There is no OTTB packages available to discover LDAP infrastracture.

You could create the case with support and log Enhancement Request to add specific discovery packages.

At the same time, we could discover application running -  TIBCO  by Shell and Weblogic  by JMX or shell.
