UCMDB Error: Fails to save when add a CI to application

Hi,

I'm working on 8.02 version of UCMDB. I created a few CIs and mapped them to application by right clicking and selecting "Add to Application" option. It worked fine. But then happened an some error due to the size of the string for naming the view.

Now whenever, I try to map a CI to application it fails giving the error "An error occurred" and then "Failed to save the resource". I have already mapped more than 100 CIs. Also, if I try to remove already existing and then try to again map them, it works fine.

Please suggest.

Thanks,
Vatsalya

Did you run discovery in your environment?
How many CIs in total do you have in your CMDB?

Yes, we do run the discovery.

We have created around 110 CIs. The total number may go to 400 max.

Hi ,

Try to upgrade to 8.03 patch and then try again.
