UCMDB Support Tip: Error: "Query doesn't exist"

In the event of accessing Modeling studio > Query, and a popup error message occurs: "Query doesn't exist" having all queries vanished from Modeling Studio.

When reviewing the ucmdb logs, one finds the following error message: "ERROR - Error while invoking service. (FolderService#getFoldersTree) java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException (...) Caused by: com.hp.ucmdb.api.ExecutionException: com.mercury.topaz.cmdb.shared.tql.exception.TqlException: [ErrorCode [55034] TQL doesn't exist] Pattern [<name of TQL>] doesn't exist"

Please note, in order to address such discrepancy, you will need to:

  1. Find the name of the offending TQL in the error message: [ErrorCode [55034] TQL doesn't exist] Pattern [<name of TQL>] doesn't exist"
  2. Remove it from the application (by exposing the CIT root and remove the CI)
