UCMDB Support Tip : Failed running scanner on 64 bit Linux machine

Issue description:

Inventory Discovery by Scanner job failed with following errors on 64 bit Linux machine :

Error:Scanner can't be executed. Check if the scanner can run on the target host.
Error: Scan file is not ready yet. Agent option DISCOVERY_SCANFILENAME value is Empty.

Copying scanner to the target machine and executing it locally returns below error:

-bash: ./scan: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory

The root cause of failure to execute scanner is that the target machine is a pure 64 bit Linux. It does not contain library for 32bit.

Our scanner is compiled for 32bit. Thus, it cannot be executed on pure 64bit OS.

Native x64 Scanner for Linux is available from CP 15.
