UCMDB Support Tip: HOW TO RUN THE SCANNER IN DEBUG MODE FROM UCMDB GUI UCMDB Version 10.11

  1. Go to Inventory by scanner job, click on the CI that is having the issue, right click and choose DebugàRerun scanneràEnable Debug option
  2. There is also the option of Trace which is used for tracing applications, this option needs to be used when there are issues with application recognition.

       Please beware that the log file for the scanner may be very large especially in Trace mode.

3.   Once the scanner is finished you can download the scan log from the option: DebugàDownload

       scanner log.
