(UCMDB) Support Tip - LDAP users failed to generate/schedule report

Topic:

UCMDB user(admin/sysadmin) is able to Schedule report , while LDAP user (not sysadmin) failed to generate report due to below error :

[ErrorCode [200007] Permission check is not allowed since there is no logged user]: Failed to do permission check without logged in user in authorization context <AuthorizationContextImpl{_isAuthorized=true, _securityDomainLevel=USER, _entryPointName='entryPointName', _restrictedToTenants=[], _isCiLevelAuthorization=false}> : operation Authorization query: get tenants for general-on-resource-or-CI permitted action

Response:

When a non-sysadmin normal LDAP user schedules a topology report, and the user's login name is different from the display name, then the report fails to be generated because the user could not be found.

The issue is  fixed in 10.11 CUP8  in QCCR1H106978

Users can also try below steps to work around this issue:

  1. Go in UCMDB-UI - Users and Groups
  2. In User tab select your LDAP user
  3. Modify the 'Display name' to be same as 'Login name' and save it
  4. Logout and login with that LDAP user
  5. Schedule a new report
