(UCMDB Support Tip) - Out of Box UCMDB with Servicenow Enhanced Generic Adapter is not working

Issue:

In the event of trying to push the single record of windows device with File system, interface, ip address, disk device into Service Now, records are properly landed to service now staging table for windows, file system, interface, ip address, disk device. When the records are reviewed for interface - network adapter table in service now, there is a field called cmdb_ci which are mapping from UCMDB - Root.['global_id'] is populated to cmdb_ci of network adapter.

Even though the above logic is in order to make a relationship between Windows server to network adapter CI. The adapter from UCMDB is converting global_id of windows CI and fetching the sys_id of windows server table and update them into network adapter CI in cmdb_ci field value. This logic has been done by Servicenow Enhanced Generic Adapter.

Currently, it is showing the value of cmdb_ci in wrong format and it is not converting the server properly into this field. There are some invalid control characters in this field.
