UCMDB Support Tip: Probe the posgresql.log can grow very large

In the Data Flow Probe the posgresql.log can grow very large (in GB). To prevent this, the following can be changed:

 The file postgresql.conf  in the %UCMDB Folder%\DataFlowProbe\conf folder.

log_min_duration_statement = 5000
log_truncate_on_rotation = on
log_rotation_age = 1440
log_filename = 'postgresql_%wlog'

Change the parameters in the conf file and then restart the service ''UCMDB_Probe_DB".
Then the log will start rotation and produce new log each day.

If you have the big file and need to split the log you can use Cyqwin as below:

  Cygwin command "split postgresql.log -C 100m"
