(UCMDB) Support Tip - The same node is discovered over even if it's not part of the probe range

Topic:

The same node is discovered over even if it's not part of the probe range

Response:

Out of the box, discovery jobs can only discover IPs contained in one of the probe ranges.

Anyway, starting with content pack 21, VMware (ESX/vcenter/vmotion) topology by VIM jobs, are able to discover ips unrelated to the probe range.

This flag can be turned off go

- open job within universal discovery

- click on the tab properties

- click on discoveryUnknownIPs

- change the value to false

- restart the job
