UCMDB Support Tip: Unable to see integration points in Integration Studio

When one opens Integration Studio and the list of integration points is empty, having the following error found in %TEMP%/UcmdbLog/all-errors.log

ERROR [AWT-EventQueue-2] The execution of the swing job has failed
java.lang.RuntimeException: org.springframework.remoting.RemoteInvocationFailureException: Invocation of method [public abstract java.util.Set com.hp.ucmdb.uiserver.services.cmdb.DataAcquisitionService.getAllDataStores()] failed in HTTP invoker remote service at [http://localhost:8080/ucmdb-ui/services/DataAcquisitionService]; nested exception is com.mercury.topaz.cmdb.shared.base.CmdbException: [ErrorCode [10] ]

Root cause for such discrepancy is due to a problem with a job definition for that reason the list of integration points is empty.

In order to resolve this one will need to remove the integration job that has the problem from jmx-console:

To do so,

1) Login to jmx-console

2) Select UCMDB:service=Model Services

3) Invoke retrieveObjectsOfType with these parameters:

                customerID=1

                className= discoveryjob

4) Find the line that include the name of the integration job

5) Click on the link

6) In the opened screen click Delete Object

"HP Support
If you find this or any post resolves your issue, please be sure to mark it as an accepted solution."

Re: UCMDB Support Tip: Unable to see integration points in Integration Studio

Hi Ana,

Thanks for posting these details. We are facing error in UCMDB 10.22 right now.

But when we tried the below steps, its erroring out saying "There are no instances of class discoveryjob" as there are no cis created in CIT when i checked in Classmodel.

COuld you please look inthis and let me know if there is a change in 10.22 where the job details will be saved to delete the integration point/job to resolve this issue,.

) Select UCMDB:service=Model Services

3) Invoke retrieveObjectsOfType with these parameters:

                customerID=1

                className= discoveryjob

Thanks in Advance for your help.

Regards,

Siva Boppana
