(UCMDB) Support Tip - "Failed to login on UCMDB" error prevents access to UCMDB UI
Issue : Universal CMDB (UCMDB) administrators may observe errors similar to the below preventing access to the UCMDB UI, despite supplying correct credentials:
[CmdbLifeCycleManager periodic customers detection] (CmdbConnectorImpl.java:167) ERROR - User name or password are wrong - failed to login on UCMDB
How can access to the UI be restored?
Solution : Reset the superIntegrationUser credentials via the setSuperIntegrationUser JMX method:
- Open the jmx console, accessible by default at http://<examplehost>:8080/jmx-console/ (or port 8443 if HTTPS is enabled)
- Navigate to the UCMDB-UI:name=UCMDB Integration mbean. Invoke setSuperIntegrationUser with the following:
User Name: UISysadmin
