UCMDB Tip: How can all CIs of a certain type be deleted?

If it is required to delete all CIs of a certain type, uCMDB administrators may take advantage of the following JMX method, which can be used to delete all discovered CIs of a specified type using the JMX console:

Open the JMX Console, navigate to Model Services, then use invoke the deleteByClassType() mBean with the following:

customer ID  1
className    configuration_item
chunkSize     <Leave this blank>
isDerived Leave this as True

The result will be a count of the number of CIs deleted.

Note*: Replace configuration_item with the desired Class to delete
